Your training with Coast Flyers is relaxed and personal. Our Cessna 172 is well-maintained and an excellent training aircraft. Log your first hours on a check-ride accompanied by our Certified Flight Instructor. Then start on your way to achieving the dream of flight.

To give you a general idea of the cost and commitment we have outlined the minimum requirements to attain your Private Pilots license. Keep in mind that many students require a bit more than the minimum number of hours in order to pass their flight test. However, these numbers should give you a good idea about the time and money involved in this endeavor.

Ground School: $300
Flight Instruction (35 hrs in a C172): $4,900
Solo (15 hrs in a C172): $1,650
Total Investment: $6,850
