The Coast Flyers multi-engine rating program adds multi-engine privileges to your existing Private or Commercial Pilot Certificate. All necessary ground and flight instruction required by the Multi-Engine Practical Test Standards is included in the price listed below. This is a 4 day course providing up to 7 hours of flight training in our high performance Piper Turbo Seminole and the use of the aircraft for the multi-engine rating checkride.

Before your training date Coast Flyers will send you the Jeppesen Multi Engine Kit which includes the following materials: Multi-Engine Manual, Multi-Engine Syllabus, Multi-Engine Stage Exam Booklet (includes end-of-course exams), Multi-Engine Record Folder, Commercial Pilot Airplane Multi-Engine Land/Sea PTS, and Pilot Kit Bag (black).
Prerequisites to Starting the Multi- Engine Rating Course
1. Current FAA Medical Certificate
2. Private or Commercial Single-Engine Certificate
3. Thorough Knowledge of Material in the Jeppesen Multi Engine Kit (to be sent to you upon scheduling your training)
